Championship Finals
Last week was a very intense one for our Gladiators. Our Men’s Soccer team was engaged in the final phase of the championship, quarter-finals in a single match against Erasmus. Play-offs reached with great merit and determination, following a historic comeback by our boys who with 5 consecutive victories had brought themselves to fourth position, only behind the prestigious Foro Italico, Luiss and Link.

On Wednesday, November 2, both our Women’s and Men’s 5vs5 Soccer Gladiators had their historic “rival” match against the American University of Rome’s Wolves, in their first official game of the University of Rome Tournaments!

In celebration of John Cabot University’s 50th Anniversary, JCU Athletics organized a coed soccer game of alumni vs current students at Trastevere Stadium. We had a great turnout with many alumni from over the years. It was so incredible catching up with everyone and seeing Gladiators we haven’t seen in a while.

Week 7: Lucky Number Seven
This week proved that sometimes luck is not on your side but also that luck isn’t everything. Skill, determination, and your willingness to give it everything you have is just as, if not more important. We had a few surprising losses this week but also some big wins that we are so proud of. Let’s give it up for our Gladiators, on to week 8!

Another busy week for our JCU Gladiators as they continue to fight for victories against their many competitors. Although we had some difficult losses we also had some incredible wins that we should be proud of. Volleyball, Basketball & Men’s Soccer continue to prove their determination with multiple victories and Women’s soccer and 5on5 are giving everything they have to pull through and dominate.
