The JCU Gladiators Coed Volleyball team is all about passion, teamwork, and the drive to keep improving every time they step on the court. While recent seasons haven’t brought home a trophy, the spirit and dedication of this squad are stronger than ever. Competing against some of the toughest university teams, our players push each other to grow, refine their skills, and play with heart from the first serve to match point. With the new season ahead, the Gladiators are ready to spike higher, dive deeper, and show that their best is yet to come. Go Gladiators!

JCU Coed Volleyball Team was created in 2013, year in which the team also began competing in the Universities of Rome Championship.

In 2024, a Women’s Volleyball delegation flew to Athens for the ACG’s International Sports Festival and gained the 2nd place, keeping high the Gladiators’ pride and spirit!

In 2013, our Gladiators won the first Tournament against Europea di Roma, and Mateo Micucci, JCU outside hitter/wing spiker was awarded Best Player of the match.

Although, JCU has never won a first place again in the following years, our team has always been able to get on the podium by ranking second or third.

In 2016, Roberta Falvo, JCU setter, was awarded Best Player of the tournament.
