On Thursday, May 30th, the Universities of Rome Championship Closing Ceremony took place at the Università Europea di Roma. The ceremony celebrated the end of the 2018/2019 Season, and during the night, the teams and players who stood out the most were awarded. And John Cabot University came back home with several trophies.

This has been a great year for JCU, mostly thanks to our Women’s 5v5 Soccer team, who won its 3rd Championship Title and our Men’s Basketball team who got a respectable 3rd place.

Despite the other teams didn’t get to the podium, we are still proud of them for their great work carried out during this entire year. You showed commitment, and that resulted in enormous improvements both on a technical and tacical level and on a teamwork level.

This year has also helped us figure out on what we still need to improve, and we are sure that with the help and passion of all of our student-athletes, we can reach higher and better goals in the next Season.

Congratulations to each one of our Gladiator! We are proud of you!
