-In the fall of 2012/spring 2013 JCU for the first time organized and participated in a competitive tournament with two other university teams, Link Campus and the European University of Rome, and won. In the fall of 2013/spring 2014, the second year of JCU’s involvement in the tournament, more universities began to join and in 2015/16 JCU won 2^nd place in the tournament.

-Athletic coordinator’s Marco Iorio and Alessandro Sabelli took part in the growth of the tournament and annually participate in an Italian television show to speak about the performance of the team and their predictions for the rest of the season.
