They say that “when the going gets tough, the tough get going.” And our JCU Men’s Soccer proved to be a tough team last night, not only for defeating 2-1 the University of Foro Italico (UFI), which is the current second-place team in the league ranking, but because they were able to dominate a game against all the odds.

Another busy Wednesday on the agenda last night, for 4 of our varsity teams who came down to the field for their respective games in the Universities of Rome Championship and the Oroverde Tournament.
On Tuesday, February 26th, both our Men’s Basketball and Coed Volleyball teams took the field for their respective tournaments, Oroverde and UISP.

On Monday, February 25th, the second-round challege of the Universities of Rome Championship took place at Sapienza Sport. Five teams battled on the field, trying to earn precious points that would allow them to go up in the ranking and qualify for the Finals.

A very busy Wednesday night for most of our varsity teams who took the field for their respective games of the different tournaments. Between victories, ties, and losses, last night was definitely intense and full of action!
Not a night of celebration for our JCU Coed Volleyball and Men’s Basketball teams yesterday. Unfortunately, both of our teams lost their games respectively against The American University of Rome (AUR) and Honey Sport City (HSC).
