John Cabot University offers its students the chance to practice sports and represent with pride their university.
Every student can choose between men and women’s soccer, men’s futsal, coed volleyball, coed basketball and cheerleading. Most of our teams take part in the Roman University tournament and play against other universities. Each of them has been growing annually and our students and coaches feel part of this change.
Last May, a lot of great players and students that had started playing a sport in their freshman year graduated, so we would like to renew the cycle this year by holding two weeks of tryouts. The tryouts will take place during the first two weeks of classes – from Monday, August 29th to Thursday, September 8th.
Taking part in a sports team is highly suggested for both degree-seeking students and visiting students. For the JCU students, it can be a way to represent their university, make new friends, and practice the language while learning how to be a team player. For the visiting students, joining a sports team is one of the smartest choices to make in order to get the best out of the Roman experience.
It will make for an incredibly unique traveling experience, allowing you to easily immerse yourself into the culture!
