#BeingAGladiator – Men’s 11v11 Soccer

Another semester has come and gone, ending just as quickly as it began. Each semester, we are lucky enough to meet students from all over the world that want to participate in JCU varsity sports, either studying abroad or seeking a degree, and represent JCU pride – ultimately becoming true JCU Gladiators!

Recap of Final Soccer Games-End of Fall 17′ Semester

Last week, the FINAL two days of games were held for all three of the JCU soccer teams – men’s 11v11, men’s futsal, and women’s! This has been such a great semester for these teams – especially because it was the last semester for the men’s 11v11 captain, Riccardo Vallese, forward Lukas Loishacker (both are graduating) and some excellent study abroad players that will unfortunately be returning to their home universities as the Fall 2017 semester comes to an end.

Final Fall 17′ Games for our Coed Volleyball and Basketball Teams!

Last night, our coed volleyball and basketball teams participated in their FINAL games of the Fall 2017 semester! Both teams have worked incredibly hard over the past several months and put in a great last effort – we want to thank all of the new and returning students and to those study abroad students that really went the extra mile for both of these teams.. the games would not have been the same without you, and we had a lot of fun this semester!

Pep Rally & Weekly Game Recap!

Last night, the ‘Gladiators Pep Rally’ was held at Trastevere Stadium right before all three of our JCU soccer team’s competed in games – the women’s and men’s 5v5 played against the American University of Rome while our men’s 11v11 team competed against Erasmus in Campus.

We also got to see a performance from our Gladiator mascot and JCU cheerleaders, as they pumped up our players and fans for the game! Overall, it was a great turnout of supporters and we were happy to see so many people cheering on our teams and showing some JCU spirit!
