Last night at Virgilio high school, our coed volleyball team played at 9:15 pm against the Iorio’s team in a tough, but fun match! We also had a special guest appearance from the JCU Gladiator mascot at our pregame pep rally – with music, pizza, and good vibes!

It was a great night for sports last night at the high school as two friendly teams competed in a match! This tournament also allows our coaches as well as coach assistants to participate, allowing our volleyball coach Stefano Papari and coach assistant Massimilano Menculini to play with the students.

JCU dominated the first set, while the Iorio’s came back for the second.  JCU won the third and fourth sets – putting them now in second place in the standings, together with the Iorio’s.

Overall, we had a great atmosphere because of the pep rally before the game, and because of the awesome supporters that came out to cheer on our Gladiators.

Our Lady Gladiators and men’s futsal soccer team also played last night at Trastevere Stadium– the women’s team won against Link Campus University, 9-3! While our men’s futsal tied against Bambino Gesu 2-2!! Both played great games, with our women’s team leading as strong as ever in the standings, amazing job ladies!

The next coed volleyball game will be on Tuesday, November 28th at 8:15 PM @ Oro Verde – come out and show some Gladiator spirit for our fantastic players!
