JCU Volleyball Team alias TORNADO Sweeps Away AUR by Winning 0-3

Last night, JCU Coed Volleyball team played a great game in the Universities of Rome Championship, defeating The American University of Rome for 0-3.
Our Gladiators gave their best, and the result was a crushing victory, which gives hope to the team in view of the Finals Day, happening on Thursday, April 19th.

“It was an easy game for us tonight. We won all the three sets without any particular difficulty,” coach Stefano Papari commented at the end of the game. “Despite the numerous absentees, our team played really well, and I am really proud of them because all the players have enormously improved, in one way or another, since the beginning of the semester. In particular, I want to congratulate with the players who showed great commitment from the start and have always come to practice. This victory is also the result of your hard work.”

Congratulations, Gladiators and congrats to Liana Jackson for receiving the Most Valuable Player recognition thanks to her great effort and excellent play during the game! Good job!

Now things are getting more serious, and Finals Day is only one week ahead, so stay focused, work hard, and let’s go get this trophy!
