Teams practiced regularly, twice a week, competed against other universities during weekdays (so you have the week off to travel!), and were supported by professional coaching staff.



Where Can I Practice Sports in Rome While Studying?
John Cabot University offers free entrance to the fitness center on campus, for all JCU students, faculty and staff, conveniently located in the Gianicolo Residence. All sports facilities used by the teams to practice are located in the area of Trastevere and Monteverde, close to the main campuses. JCU students therefore have access to a free gym and fitness classes, intramural tournaments at venues across Rome, making it easy to balance academics with athletics.
Are There All-Inclusive Student Trips with Sports?
Yes — Fall 2025 included several travel-inclusive student trips, offering not just sightseeing but also hiking, sailing, snorkeling, while discovering hidden gems of Italy. These trips are fully supervised, and all leaders are BLSD CPR & First Aid certified, ensuring student safety.
