Join the JCU Gladiators Varsity Teams – Compete, Represent, and Rise!
At John Cabot University, being a Gladiator means more than just playing the game—it’s about embracing the spirit of fair play, teamwork, commitment, and fun, while rising to every challenge with courage and heart.
Our varsity teams—Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Cheerleading, Padel, Men’s Soccer, Women’s 5v5 Soccer, Tennis, and COED Volleyball—compete proudly in the Universities of Rome Championship and have the unique opportunity to represent JCU in international tournaments abroad. Whether you’re scoring goals, making the perfect shot, or energizing the crowd, you’ll be part of a team that works hard, supports one another, and never backs down.
With every match and every cheer, the Gladiators show what it means to lead with passion, push limits, and celebrate the journey together.
Are you ready to wear the armor? Become a Gladiator. Compete with pride.
Being a Gladiator, students will not only improve their athletic performance through weekly practices, training sessions, and games but will also have the unique chance to be surrounded by international teammates!
Please note that a minimum GPA of 2.0 is required to participate in varsity teams.
