In a spirited match, the Tennis Gladiators faced off against Link Campus Erasmus B. Despite a hard-fought battle, Link Campus emerged victorious with a 3-0 win, securing victories in both the men’s single and the double matches at the tie-break. “The tennis team challenged opponents of a higher level than in previous matches, and all the games were very evenly matched. In the end, the Erasmus’ slightly greate experience prevailed, but Vittoria and Federico fought until the end, losing only in the tiebreak in both the men’s singles and doubles, showing some good improvements at times. It’s unfortunate not to secure any points from today, but I’m confident they’ll bounce back in the next one!” said Athletics Coordinator Marco Iorio.

The volleyball court witnessed an outstanding performance by the Gladiators as they secured a commanding 3-0 victory against Biomedico, showcasing their teamwork and precision. The triumph was further enhanced by the spirited support of Coach Gregori’s cheerleaders, who graced the event with one of their beautiful performances, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
“I’m satisfied with last night’s match result. Despite a tough loss to UR3 last week, our team showed resilience against UCB, redeeming ourselves with a 3-point gain. Maintaining high concentration, especially in the attacks led by Christian and Tej, we secured a crucial victory that energizes us for upcoming matches“, said coach Di Vincenzo at the of the game.

A dramatic clash unfolded on the men’s soccer field as the Gladiators faced Cattolica. In a thrilling finish, John Cabot University emerged triumphant with a tight 2-1 scoreline.
“The team is trying to react to the difficulties encountered earlier in the season. Besides there is a lot to work on, with everyone’s availability and will, we will be able to do improve. Those who make sacrifices and fight to improve are certainly on the right path. The positive note is the great reaction the team had in this match. After going 2-0 down, risking to concede more goals to the opponents, the boys managed to get back into the game at the end and to almost win” reported coach Marian.

The women’s soccer team continued the winning streak with a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Link Campus Erasmus, showcasing their prowess on the pitch.
“I’m happy about our team’s win, especially because we did not concede a goal to the opponents, and because some of our players had the chance to get some satisfaction after being just back from an injury. It was important to practice new defensive situations in the match for future games, as one of those will be very difficult”, said coach Beatrice Boni at the end of the game.

The basketball court witnessed an intense battle between Roma Tre and John Cabot University. In a neck-and-neck competition, Roma Tre clinched a narrow victory with a final score of 41-40.
Coach Cano was disappointed at the end of the game, stating that we should have won. I likely didn’t prepare the team well for this type of match.“

Despite facing a tough challenge on the men’s 5v5 soccer field against Campus Biomedico, the Gladiators displayed resilience and sportsmanship, even in the face of a 13-0 scoreline.
“We faced the number 1 team on ranking, whose level is very high for us. We tried to keep up with tactics and strategy to contain the opponents’ skills. Sure enough, we will be able to get some satisfactory results in the near future, but we need to keep working hard“, said Coach Franceschi right after the end of the game.
