This past weekend, the third and final JCU Community Fun Run took place. The Community Fun Runs served as an opportunity for students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the wider JCU Community to come together for a relaxing jog followed by a breakfast at Bar Meccanismo in Piazza Trilussa. At each of these meetings, we were fortunate to have bright skies and perfect running temperatures to start off our Sunday mornings.
In addition to the Community Fun Runs that took place this semester, Team JCU also hosted a group of students who competed in the 2023 Cardio Race, an exhilarating opportunity for friendly competition with thousands of others.
Overall, this semester’s activities with Team JCU have served as an opportunity for individuals from all corners of the JCU community to experience the city, stay active, and get to know others who are passionate about health and fitness. For those of you who came out for your first ever run or race, we send you our biggest #Gladiator congratulations! For those from the JCU Community who will be participating in the Roma21K or 10K next week, we wish you the best of luck!
Stay tuned for future Team JCU events for the upcoming semester and don-t forget to check out final opportunities this semester that can be booked through JCU Athletics!
