As the Spring 2020 semester is about to begin, we have just released a special video to promote our varsity teams and our student-athletes ⬇⬇⬇

Now here’s below you can also find a brief recap of where we left off with our teams at the end of last semester:

Our Men’s Soccer and Men’s Basketball teams will have to work harder than ever to confirm their first place in their respective rankings and qualify for the play-offs of the Universities of Rome Championship.

The Men’s Basketball team will also be in action in the UISP tournament and will have to prove to be worthy of their currrent title of pre-season champion.

After a low start in the first part of the Season, our Men’s 5vs5 and Women’s 5vs5 Soccer teams will need to find back their strenght to climb up the ranking and earn a spot in the play-offs.

Our Coed Volleyball team officially starts the Season during this Spring semester (date is TBD), while the team will keep playing in the Oroverde tournament, which currently sees JCU standing with one victory and two losses.

Of course, our Cheerleading team will always be our teams’ steady support by performing at many games and by representing JCU and our department at various events.

This semester will also mark a historic moment because we will organize our first JCU International Tournament for our Soccer teams, which will take place at Trastevere Stadium from April 9th to April 11th !

Another important appointment is our participation in the ACG International Sports Festival in Athens, Greece at the end of March where we will fly with our Women’s 5vs5 Soccer, Women’s Volleyball and Men’s Basketball teams and one delegate for Tennis and Swimming.

Many new and tough challenges await for us in the second part of the Season, but we are ready, and we hope to take home memorable moments and victories!
