The Ancient Way of Pilgrims from Canterbury (UK) led pilgrims through the heart of Europe to the Eternal City, Rome. The trip we propose takes three stages, from Acquapendente to Viterbo, passing through Bolsena and Montefiascone. It is one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of the entire Francigena, rich in history and art.

1st day: from Acquapendente to Bolsena.

Difference in height: 200 m

Duration: 6.5 h

2nd day: from Bolsena to Montefiascone.

Total length: 18 Km

Difficulty: Average

Difference in altitude: 600 m

Duration: 5.5 h

Day 3: from Montefiascone to Viterbo.

Total length: 18 Km

Difficulty: Average

Difference in height: 90 m

Duration: 5.5 hours
