On Thursday, April 19th, JCU Coed Volleyball and Basketball teams contemporarily played their respective Finals in the Universities of Rome Championship at Palatorrino. Both of JCU teams faced the two teams of the University of Foro Italico.

Unfortunately, our Gladiators didn’t win, also given the fact that they had to cope with the many absences due to some injured players. However, both of our Gladiator teams behaved quite well on the court and still managed to earn a decent 2nd place in the overall ranking. JCU teams left their heart on the field and did everything they could until the end of the matches. Indeed, despite all the odds, our Gladiators proved to be great team players, supporting each other during the entire games.

Of course, there is a little of regret for a 2nd place that could have been a 1st place, but we take this as an incentive to do better in the next season. We can all learn from our mistakes, but this season is now over, and out thoughts go immediately to the next one where we are sure you will be able to get your payback! So don’t give up!
