Last night, the Lady Gladiators women’s soccer team played their first away game against Università Cattolica, and won 5-3!! This was the third game for the women’s team and also the third win.
Pamela Contreras had a total of 14 attempts and 2 goals, while Katelynn Cunningham had 9 attempts and 3 goals. Our goal keeper Maria Vittoria was able to save a total of 13 shots, and the entire team worked incredibly hard in assists and defense. Overall, it was a great game and our women’s soccer team is definitely on a roll! Congrats ladies! 🙂
Our Gladiators men’s futsal team also played last night at Trastevere Stadium and although they didn’t win, they played hard and refused to give up, even while lacking an official goal keeper! Special thanks to Robert Zito, who stepped in to play the keeper for the team!
The Gladiators volleyball team also played last night at Virgilio high school and showed good potential as they prepare for their upcoming tournament!
Tomorrow night, our final Gladiators game of the week will be our men’s soccer home game playing against Luiss at Trastevere Stadium!!
