Last night at Trastevere stadium, our women’s soccer team dominated our rivals, the American University of Rome – 5-3!!!

Emily Funston, Viviana Colagrossi, Tori Barton and Katelynn Cunningham all scored goals last night (Kat with 2), but the entire team worked well together in order to take the lead! We are incredibly proud of our lady gladiators as they dominated their last game before the finals!

Fantastic job ladies, we know you’ll do amazing in the finals! 🙂

Our men’s soccer team played an away game against Universita Cattolica and although they lost 4-2, the team also played well together for a challenging game- the men’s team will play their last game before the finals next Wednesday @Trastevere Stadium against Pontificia!

The JCU basketball team also played last night against Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi at the APD San Paolo Ostiense court – since there were only 5 members and it was a friendly match, the teams were mixed and they had a lot of fun!

Congratulations to our Lady Gladiators for the fantastic derby win, and also to our men’s soccer team and basketball team for showing some serious JCU spirit, having fun and never giving up!
