PROGRAM:
Day 1
7:30AM: Departure from Tiber Campus
10:30 – Arrival in San Valentino Citerione and check-in at the Hotel Panorama
11AM – Hiking (packed lunch included)
5PM – Back to the hotel and free time
7:30PM – Dinner
The Day 1 Hike is through the Orfento Valley. We will visit Cisterna Waterfall; then walk through the valley of Luchi and arrive to the Giant’s Kettles of Santa Lucia. Here, the force of water shaped over thousands of years the limestone and dug gullies and the inaccessible canyons that are as fascinating as dangerous. This is a spectacle of nature, unique in Abruzzo.

Day 2
8AM – Breakfast and check-out
9AM – Hiking (packed lunch included)
4PM – Departure to Rome
7PM – Arrival in Rome
The Day 2 Hike begins from Rifugio Bruno Pomilio to Rifugio Mario Pelino. Arriving at the top of monte Amaro to an altitude of 2793mt a.s.l. We might find snow still up there!
