Recap

MEN’S SOCCER
JCU Men’s Soccer team came up short at LUISS4-3. An extremely intense game with JCU pressing  constantly and tying up the result every time the opposing team took the lead.

First, forward Josè Pablo Ortega scored on a penalty kick, equalizing the result to 1-1. Then midfielder Ian Pratt tied up again, 2-2, and finally another final score from Josèbrought the temporary match to 3-3. Unfortunately, game timing was not enough, though, to allow our Gladiators to score again and end the match in a draw.

“It was a good game against a well-organized team. But we proved great determination because we were able react every time we were in disdvantage,” coach Riccardo Concari commented. “Too bad about the final result, but this is the kind of personality that I want to see in my players on the field.”

Good job, Gladiators! This is only the first game, so keep working hard!

MVP – Josè Pablo Ortega
