Besides staying active and fit with our virtual sports activities, JCU Athletics also wants to help you get to know your body and become more aware of how our muscles function and can be trained in a more theoretical perspective.
This is why, our team is also offering free online seminars where our Athletics Coordinator Alessandro Ronald Sabelli discusses about different body muscles and activations. The seminars are live streamed on Zoom every Sunday at 6:00pm CET.
SEMINAR #1: SHOULDER JOINT AND INVOLVED MUSCLES
In the first part of the lesson, Alessandro goes through some general notions of exercise and physical activity. In the second part, he specifically talks about and shows you how to train shoulder joint and all the muscles involved. You can watch the full webinar by clicking on the video below:
SEMINAR #2: CORE STRENGHT AND STABILITY
In the second webinar, Alessandro talks about how to train and streghten one of the most fundamental body parts: the core. Having a strong core means improving one’s stability and balance and reducing the risk of injury, especially on the lower back.
